Why Boxercise Might Be the Most Fun You Have Had Moving in a While
Boxercise at Sana Sana is the class guests are nervous to try but always leave glowing. Discover why this fun, empowering workout is a full-body release.

At Sana Sana, we offer a wide variety of classes catering to all levels of fitness. From gentle stretching to countryside walks, all are designed and put together to meet you wherever you are at in your wellness journey.
But one class that consistently surprises and delights our guests? Boxercise. It is often the one people are a little nervous to try but they always leave glowing with sweat, laughing, and asking when we're doing it again.
So what is Boxercise, why is it so enjoyable, and how can something that makes you sweat also feel like a full-body release?
What Is Boxercise?
Boxercise is a fun, energising fitness class inspired by the movements of boxing but without the ring, the helmet, the combat, the crowds and the cheering (although guests do cheer each other on) or the pressure.
It combines basic boxing combinations (think jabs, hooks, uppercuts), cardio intervals, bodyweight exercises, core work, partner drills and lots of encouragement. You don't need any boxing experience neither do you need to be super fit - just a willingness to give it a go and a little curiosity about how powerful your body can feel.
Why Is It So Good for You?
Boxercise is more than just a fun workout. It is a full-body, mood-boosting experience that supports wellness in multiple ways.
It's a Great Stress Reliever
There is something truly satisfying about punching the air (or pads) with intention. It allows you to release stored tension and emotions in a safe, empowering way. By the end of it, you will be feeling lighter on all levels - physically, mentally and emotionally.
It Boosts Cardiovascular Health
Boxercise gets your heart rate up in short bursts, which is great for heart health, stamina, and metabolism. And because you're constantly switching movements, it never feels repetitive or boring.
It Builds Strength and Coordination
Even though you're not lifting weights, you're using your whole body to create power and precision, especially your core, arms, and legs. You also improve balance, coordination, timing, and confidence in how your body moves.
It's Empowering and Energising
Boxercise has a unique way of helping you connect to your inner strength. It's playful, powerful, and leaves you feeling like you've let something go and gained something in return. Guests often tell us - "I didn't know I had that in me and now I feel amazing!"
But Wait, I'm Not Fit Enough
Here's the truth - you don't need to be fit to do Boxercise because Boxercise helps you feel fit.
We keep the classes adaptable, light-hearted, and welcoming. You go at your own pace, take breaks when needed, and enjoy the buzz of doing something out of your comfort zone without any pressure. It's not about being perfect. It's about showing up and having fun.
Balance, Joy, and a Little Sweat
Like everything we do here, our Boxercise classes are based upon balance. Yes, it's energising. Yes, you'll sweat. But it's also about joy, connection, and feeling empowered in your body. You might laugh, you might punch harder than you thought you could, and you'll almost definitely leave feeling lighter than when you walked in.
Ready to Try It for Yourself?
Whether you're looking to shake up your movement routine or just release a little built-up tension, Boxercise at Sana Sana offers a space to move, express, and reconnect - with a healthy side of sweat and smiles.
